Whirlybird's eye view of Québec City |
|
|
Like Icarus in Greek mythology, mankind has always dreamed of flying. Canadian Helicopters (HCL) now gives you the chance to bring this dream to life by piloting a helicopter.
Thanks to the "Pilot for a Day" package, you can learn to fly one of these incredible machines in only one hour. You will then have the opportunity to handle the controls of a helicopter during a one-hour flight with an experienced instructor sitting right next to you.
HCL also offers a number of breathtaking tours of Old Québec and the St. Lawrence River.
HCL's Québec City base is located at Jean Lesage International Airport and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., year-round.

New: Île d’Orléans cultural passport |
|
|
This cultural passport admits one adult to seven historical and cultural interpretation sites on Île d’Orléans, a charming pastoral island in the St. Lawrence River. These sites comprise five cultural sites and two economuseums®.
Valid for one year, the cultural passport gives visitors to the island the flexibility to plan their own itinerary of the historical borough of Île-d’Orléans. The passport may be stamped at each eligible site.
Children aged 12 and under accompanying the holder of the Île d’Orléans cultural passport have free admission to the seven sites. Two treasure hunts (one for adults, the other for children) are included in the passport to help tourists get the most out of their visit. The low cost of the passport ($18, including taxes) means an adult will save 50% off the admission price to the sites.
The cultural passport is available at the Île d'Orléans tourist bureau or any of the seven eligible sites: Maison Drouin, Maison de nos Aïeux, [Back to Press Releases Main]
