SOL MELIÁ LAUNCHES ESCAPE:

Miami, Florida - December 18, 2007 - Solmelia.com recently launched a new online game built around the interactive map and satellite images offered by Google Earth and Google Maps. The combination provided by the popular search engine, together with more than 400 hotels operated by the Spanish hotel chain in 35 countries, allows players to find the exact location of all of Sol Meliá’s hotels, allowing them to take part in a unique online experience, and give players the chance to win great prizes.

 

The game, available in seven languages, allows players to circle the world via satellite by literally hopping from hotel to hotel. Interested participants may visit www.solmelia.com/google for instructions on how to play.

 

Sol Meliá will provide the grand prize winner with a one-week stay for two at the Sol Meliá hotel of their choice, including airfare. Five other winners will receive a weekend-stay for two in any of the company’s more than 400 hotels.
