Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa Launches Contest

Los Cabos, Mexico (January 26, 2011) - Solmar Hotels & Resorts announced today the launch of a new social media contest promoting the grand opening of the hotel group's latest venture - Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa, opening on February 26, 2011. The Grand Solmar "Name Our Bar & Win"contest gives Facebook fans and Twitter followers the unique opportunity to nominate names for the new resort's lobby bar and automatically enter to win a luxurious 4-night stay on property.

Beginning on January 26th and running through February 16th, Solmar Hotels & Resorts will ask fans and followers to post and tweet their most creative names that include the themes of Solmar Hotels & Resorts, Los Cabos or Baja California Sur. Once all entries have been submitted, three finalists will be selected by Solmar Hotels & Resorts and announced on February 21st via Twitter and Facebook for fans and followers to vote for their favorite. The voting will take place from February 21st to February 25th with the final name and Grand Prize winner chosen and announced on March 1.

 

The Grand Prize winner will receive a stay for two during the VIP Grand Opening weekend for Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa.  The prize package will include a 4-day/3-night stay for two at Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa from May 12-15, 2011, roundtrip airfare for two as well as round-trip airport transfers for two. The winner and his/her guest will be invited to join all of the special activities and events planned during the VIP Grand Opening Weekend, including a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
