POPULAR VINTNERS WEEKEND GETAWAYS RETURN TO THE LODGE AT GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE

GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio (Jan. 3, 2008)  Raise a glass to the delights of wine during four Vintners Weekend Getaways at the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, beginning February 16, 2008.  Opportunities to savor a selection of fine wines and participate in a unique learning experience with Northeast Ohio’s top vintners make each getaway a memorable one.

 

The evening begins with the featured winemaker sharing anecdotes while leading a wine tasting and seminar on wine production basics.  Guests are then treated to a five-course dinner with white glove service, and each course is paired with an appropriate wine.  The secrets of the evening’s wine pairings are revealed by the Lodge’s Chef Stephen Gary and the featured vintner, who will also visit with guests at their table during dinner.  Live music will entertain guests.
