SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK, ZAMBIA - (February 18, 2011) – Did you know that the 2010 Scott/Berry Safari was so successful that The Bushcamp Company is doing it all again this year? You can join Jonathan and Phil for another amazing safari experience November 12-19, 2011. Cost is $7,150 per person. Visit www.bushcampcompany.com for videos, or download a pdf brochure here: www.bushcampcompany.com/download.php?file=downloads/1296138662/BCC Scott and Berry Safari 2011 Main.pdf or e-mail naldi@bushcampcompany.com for further information.

The South Luangwa is celebrated as Zambia’s big cat country and one of the best parks in Africa for leopards. It is also famous for elephants, in particular a herd that comes every November for wild mangos at Mfuwe Lodge. This week long trip is ideal for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts, as the first rains give the park a fresh green appearance, the air clears and the light is picture perfect. November's guests will also be treated to the Lodge’s luxury upgrades, completed just last May. These include the Bush Spa (with free massage for safari guests) new Landrovers, refreshed chalets and more.

Jonathan Scott is a multi award-winning wildlife photographer based in Kenya where he lives with his wife Angie. He has lived in Kenya since 1977, and was based in the Masai Mara for over a decade where he followed the great wildebeest migration. In 1987 he won Wildlife Photographer of the Year for his photograph of a wild dog catching a wildebeest. Jonathan is most famously known for the ‘Big Cat Diary’ and ‘Elephant Diaries’ series for BBC television. His latest book, ‘Stars of Big Cat Diary’ was published in 2009.

Phil Berry is one of Zambia' s most prominent naturalists and guides. In 1960 he joined the Northern Rhodesia Game Department based in the South Luangwa and for the last 40+ years has been at the forefront of conservation in Luangwa. Since 2000, Phil and his partner, Babette Alfieri, have run the Kuyenda Bushcamp where he leads walking safaris. His specialities are the endemic Thornicroft's giraffe and the ever elusive leopard. He has studied both species for over 35 years and is a recognized authority with scientific papers published by BBC Wildlife Magazine.

ABOUT BUSHCAMP COMPANY
The Bushcamp Company operates six exclusive bushcamps in the remote south of Zambia's iconic South Luangwa National Park, as well as the Mfuwe Lodge (voted Best Lodge in Zambia 2009) just inside the main park gate. Set out from any of these secluded, intimate camps and you are guaranteed an unrivaled wildlife experience in one of the last unspoilt wilderness regions of Africa - the very place where the African walking safari was pioneered. The Bushcamp Company was founded by Andy Hogg and Andrea Bizzaro in 1999 and is still run from its headquarters at Mfuwe Lodge by Andy - a Zambian who worked for many years at Save the Rhino Trust's Chinzombo Lodge in Luangwa.
