INNside Gettysburg B&B’s Announce Civil War Ball

     Gettysburg, PA – January 4, 2008 – The Bed and Breakfasts INNside Gettysburg, a group of six premier Bed and Breakfast Inns, announce their 13^th Annual Civil War Ball and Dinner to be held at the Hotel Gettysburg Ballroom on January 26, 2008.  A weekend package is available through the participating inns, which include the Baladerry Inn, the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, the Brafferton Inn, the Gaslight Inn, the James Gettys Hotel and the Lightner Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast.

 

The Grand Ball weekend begins with Friday check in at your Inn and includes two nights of lodging, two breakfasts, Saturday morning dance lessons and the Ball on Saturday evening.  Tickets for the gala event are available as part of a package provided by the individual inns and include a two-hour dance lesson at the Hotel Gettysburg Ballroom on Saturday morning, January 26, to prepare couples for the period dances.  The Ball begins at 6 PM with a full course meal served by Hotel Gettysburg and followed by three hours of period dances with dancemaster Briant Bohleke and his staff assisting the dancers. Music will be provided by Music Americana.  Period dress is strongly recommended for the Ball.
