Libertyville, IL, May 17, 2011—TourCrafters newest package, Paris & Nice at  Easy Pace includes round-trip air from New York, four nights at a comfortable 3-star hotel in Paris, four nights at a stunning 4-star hotel in Nice, daily buffet breakfast, airport transfers in Nice, one restaurant dinner in Nice and sightseeing tours all along the legendary Côte d’Azur, starting at $2,505 from now through July, but as little as $2,180 in September and $1,919 in October. (For an additional sum, an upgrade to a 4-star hotel in Paris is possible.)

 

Arrival is in Nice, the sun-splashed capital of the French Riviera, where accommodations are at the Hotel La Perouse. This beautiful boutique hotel has a pool; overlooks the sea, beach and Promenade des Anglais; and is very near Nice’s famous flower market.  To make life easy on the first night, a three-course dinner is provided at a restaurant-with-terrace on the Promenade.des Anglais.

 

Then there’s a half-day sightseeing tour of Nice, and a half-day tour to Monte Carlo, along the Basse Corniche through Villefranche, Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu, with stops at the Fragonard perfume factory and the medieval stone village of Eze. Another day there’s a choice between a full-day excursion to the celebrity favorite, St. Tropez, and “the Venice of Provence,” Port Grimaud, or a full-day excursion to the picturesque hill towns behind the Riviera: the artists’ town of Biot, the perfume center of Grasse, the charming towns of Gourdon and Vence and the sophisticated medieval village of St. Paul de Vence, where there’s free time to shop and visit the Galerie Maeght.  On still another day a half-day tour to glamorous Cannes, with stops in Antibes and Cagnes, is included.

 

After a flight to Paris—the center of fashion, art and gastronomy—you’ll be welcomed at the modern Hotel Quartier Bastille Le Faubourg (or the 4-star Hotel Normandie). In the celebrated “City of Light” you can get around to all the important sites on the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus or choose an optional guided tour of the city.  It’s also possible to extend your vacation with an optional trip from Paris to the Loire châteaux; or to Mont St. Michel; or to Normandy, Mont St. Michel and the Loire.

 

All prices quoted are per person, double occupancy, are subject to availability and do not include airport taxes of approximately $115 and fuel charges of approximately $420 (both of which can vary).  Reservations must be paid for within 72 hours of booking.
