WHAT'S NEW - WHICH WAY DID THEY GO? They went to Newaygo for the United States Canoe Association National Canoe & Kayak Championships August 9-14. More than 500 U.S. and international racers are expected for exciting sprint races and an 18-mile marathon event. Participants will paddle up and down the Muskegon River for bragging rights and awards. The Muskegon River has been ranked among the top 20 rivers by Field & Stream magazine for fishing, and in the top 12 for recreation in National Geographic. Dip your oar in the Pure Michigan waters for the latest updates on this major summer event.
