Nationally known TV series will search for paranormal on Sept. 16
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania – August 11, 2011
Brothers Brad and Barry Klinge, stars of the TV series “Ghost Lab,” will conduct an all-night paranormal investigation of the 250-year-old Fairfield Inn, near the historic battlefields of Gettysburg, on Sept. 16.
Their investigation will air in an upcoming episode of “Ghost Lab,” to coincide with the release of their new book, “Chasing Ghosts, Texas Style.” The book, available in October, describes the team’s creepiest and most compelling investigations in such places as Alcatraz and Gettysburg.
“Brad and Barry’s research has revolutionized the practice of ghost hunting,” according to the show. “The Klinges use some of the most sophisticated equipment to provide powerful documentation of supernatural events.”
The crew previously investigated the historic Fairfield Inn in the spring of 2010, and the episode aired in October last year, as part of the show’s second season on the Discovery Channel. As revealed in the episode, the Klinges found what they believed to be sufficient evidence that the Fairfield Inn was haunted.
The Fairfield Inn is one of only a hand-full of Inns in America that has been in continuous operation since the 1700s.
“Ghost Lab” is also the name of EP’s mobile “command center”, a 24-foot trailer with state-of-the-art investigative equipment capable of providing 200,000 watts of electricity to power audio, video and photo analysis stations, including flat-screen televisions and an interactive touch-screen smart board, all employed to either confirm or de-bunk the evidence the team retrieves.
The Fairfield Inn is located eight miles west of Gettysburg. For more information on the Fairfield Inn, call (717) 642-5410 or visitwww.thefairfieldinn.com.
