Moonlite Snowshoeing in Schroon Lake
Schroon Lake – The Northwoods Wilderness Guide Service will be offering guided moonlight snowshoe trips on January 20th, February 23rd, and March 22nd. Guide John Houston will be taking guests out in the Hoffman or Pharaoh Wilderness areas for an evening of snowshoeing and fun.
Houston requires a minimum of four people at $10 per person or $25 per family for a trip, and will be setting out at approximately 7pm. Hot cocoa and cookies will be included in the price. A headlamp or flashlight, warm clothing, and snowshoes are required. Houston will be able to obtain snowshoe rentals for guests requiring them for an additional $15.
The Northwoods Wilderness Guide Service is located in Schroon Lake, NY. They cover Essex, Hamilton and some of Franklin counties, in the central and northern Adirondacks. They specialize in hunting, fishing, hiking, and snowshoeing year-round.
