“Our Daily Jules” Contest Begins Friday with On-line French Class

 



Paris, France (Sept 12, 2011) – On Friday September 16th, Hotel Jules launches “Our Daily Jules”, a 34-day contest on Facebook with the grand prize of a five-night stay at Hotel Jules, a Grace Leo “casual chic” hotel in the “Bobo” (bohemian bourgeoisie) district of Paris’ 9th arrondissement.

Daily, for 34 consecutive days, Hotel Jules will post a fun and useful French phrase on their Facebook page for fans to translate.  You have to ‘like’ Jules in order to play (http://www.facebook.com/hoteljules). Post your best translation and you’re automatically entered to win.   Each week one correct entry will be randomly chosen and awarded a “Paris survival kit,” Jules’ personal phrase book.   The grand prize winner will be chosen from all correct entries posted throughout the 34 days.

The contest introduces the Paris Survival Kit (Kit de Survie à Paris), a French-English phrase booklet created by Hotel Jules for guests.  Learn how to break the ice or get straight to the point with pithy phrases ranging from the useful to the existential and seductive.  The 34 phrases can be torn out and delivered with flair.  If you are like Jules, you want to mix in with the locals, be outspoken, have a sense of humor, be understood and tempt fate! With Jules in your back pocket, you’re in for an interesting time in beautiful, romantic Paris.
