DICK WEST TO LEAD INAUGURAL TOUR

Dick West, founder and Managing Director of Explor Tours, will escort the company’s first Ecuador and Galapagos Islands tour and cruise January 23, 2012. Joining him will be Stephen Weston, one of Cruise West’s favorite Exploration Leaders, and an expert in marine biology and ecosystem.

The tour features a unique new itinerary that West has developed specifically for his new company. “I have really fallen in love with Ecuador. It is so diverse! From the Amazon River jungles, to the Andes highlands, the Pacific coast, and the remote Galapagos Islands. The history, art, architecture and cultures are incredible. And there is a thriving indigenous population.”

The five night pre-cruise tour includes two nights at choice of hotel in Quito, UNESCO’s first World Heritage City, one night at a 300-year-old hacienda, and two more nights in another UNESCO World Heritage City, Cuenca. Most meals, all gratuities, fees and guide services are included. Only alcohol is extra.
