“We had the most amazing ele day today,” said Andy Hogg, founder of The Bushcamp Company and wildlife enthusiast. “They all spent about six hours at the lodge, sleeping, eating, and playing. It was a wonderfully intimate visit and all the elephants had a really good time.”
Elephants are known to visit Mfuwe Lodge in the fall; a wild mango tree nearby that bears fruit every October is the main attraction. December visits are less usual and a special gift to Mfuwe employees and guests this holiday season.
