Weekly Departures from $1,995/person Santa Monica, CA, February 8, 2012—Universal Travel Systems, a Santa Monica, California-based tour operator celebrating its 41st anniversary in 2012, has created a series of unusual small ship cruise-tours of the Dalmatian coast and islands. Two tours in particular are innovative and unusual: Dalmatian island-hopping yoga or biking, specifically designed for yoga enthusiasts and cyclists respectively. Priced from $1,995 per person, the tours depart weekly from Dubrovnik (yoga cruise) or Split (biking cruise), and island-hop through some of the most popular ports and islands of Dalmatia, including islands of Korcula, Hvar, Trstenik and Sipan on the yoga cruise; the biking cruise visits Makarska, Mljet, Sipan, Dubrovnik, the Peljesac Peninsula, Korcula and Hvar. Yoga and Sunshine Three daily yoga sessions, one in a unique outdoor setting such as a lavender field, cliff-top with spectacular view, the main square in small town, on a lonely beach etc., highlight the yoga cruise. Guests need bring only their yoga outfit, a bathing suit, t-shirts and shorts: yoga mats are provided, and a professional yoga instructor will lead the sessions. Swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing complement the tranquility of yoga, encouraging guests to explore the underworld of the Adriatic Sea, or lounge in comfort onboard. Evenings are free to explore the healthy local Dalmatian cuisine such as fresh-caught seafood and organic home-grown vegetables, or discover the centuries-old history and culture of this fascinating corner of the world.
