Spam Lovers can take advantage of special room rates, parking discount and dining certificate!

WAIKIKI, OAHU, HAWAII — Set for April 28, 2012, the 10^th Annual SPAM® Jam Festival celebrates one of Hawaii’s most beloved canned meat, SPAM®.  That night, Kalakaua Avenue will be lined with various booths offering all types of SPAM-related food and products along with several entertainment stages featuring live musical performances by some of Hawaii’s most notable artists. Geared toward locals and island visitors alike, this family-friendly street festival is an annual event not to be missed, especially with money saving offers from the Outrigger Reef on the Beach hotel and OHANA Hotels & Resorts.

At the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, guests who turn in a can of SPAM when checking in on Saturday, April 28, will be given a $10 gift certificate (one per room, per stay) to Kani Ka Pila Grille, a casual dining restaurant located poolside at the hotel.  Kani Ka Pila Grille serves a mouth-watering island cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., patrons can enjoy nightly live Hawaiian music featuring some of Hawaii’s most popular island musicians.

At OHANA Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki, a special SPAM JAM rate of $85 is being offered for standard rooms at the OHANA Waikiki East, OHANA Waikiki West, and OHANA Waikiki Malia. In addition, guests who bring in a can of SPAM upon check-in will receive a 50% discount on parking during their hotel stay. This special is only available for the weekend of April 26 through April 30, 2012.
