Six South American Itineraries Beginning Winter 2012

FORT COLLINS, CO, May 29, 2012 – ExperiencePlus! Bicycle Tours, which in 1972 became the first North American tour company to offer bike adventures in Europe (http://www.experienceplus.com/), announces six newly tweaked bicycle itineraries in Chile and Argentina ranging from seven to 12 days beginning late 2012 and continuing throughout 2013.

Maria Elena Price, co-owner of this family business, said the tours have been tweaked to include, among others, in Argentina, overnights at Patagonia’s renowned Llao Llao Hotel & Resort. In Chile revamped tours include overnights at off-the-beaten-path wine hotels and a rest day in Santa Cruz.
The six itineraries are a combination of three core tours with a company staple called Plus! add-ons that offer a way for travelers to get even farther afield and into some lesser-known gems of a region.

Itinerary includes the Ruins of Quilmes where the indigenous community resisted Spanish occupation until 1667 when they were finally conquered and forced to abandon their town and march to Buenos Aires (where along the route, no one survived).
